-
Description5-FAM SE is a single isomer,it has been used to prepare various small fluorescent molecules. It is one of the most popular green fluorescent reagents used for labeling peptides, proteins and nucleotides.
-
In VitroThe capillary electrophoresis (CE)-laser-induced fluorescent (LIF) method with 5-FAM SE (5-Carboxyfluorescein N-succinimidyl ester) derivatization for the analysis of serotonin can be used to quantify luminally released 5-HT with high sensitivity. CFSE is an excellent dye for the derivatization of 5-HT.5-FAM SE (5-Carboxyfluorescein succinimidyl ester) is chosen as the labeling reagent to precapillary derivatize the two marker aminohydroxyphenylalanine (AHP) isomers produced after reductive hydrolysis of pheomelanin with hydriodic acid (HI).

Potent agonist of the nociceptin (ORL1) receptor, demonstrated both in vitro and in vivo. Selective, competitive antagonism at the nociceptin receptor has also been reported (pA2 = 7.02 and 6.75 in the guinea pig ileum and mouse vas deferens respectively).
